Why become an OAEA Representative?
The primary responsibility of OAEA Regional Representatives is to act as the liaison between the Board and the art educators in their region.
Most often this is accomplished through email, sharing OAEA news, and soliciting information and input.
Access to funds to provide occasional regional workshops/meetings/gatherings to bring people together, meet, make art, connect and have some fun.
Attend quarterly Board meetings (in person or virtually)
One vote per region to be used to represent the needs and desires of art educators in their area.
Work with the Board to develop programs and opportunities for educators.
PDUs for recertification.
